Hi
I wonder if someone can help with our issue please.
We dye sub the Listawood screen saver cloths (the one which doubles up as a mousemat too) and the print is not coming out very vibrant. We're printing on a Sawgrass 400 and have used both the textile and mousemat options (no difference), pressing at 200deg for 45 seconds as recommended by Listawood, medium pressure.
These are always popular giveaways but they are coming out dull which is not a great advert!!!
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Try a print on 100% polyester. If it's a good print then you are probably receiving sub-standard product from Listawood.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm pretty sure we've also tried it on that setting too, so maybe we're better to steer clear of these as an option.webtrekker;147547 wrote:Try a print on 100% polyester. If it's a good print then you are probably receiving sub-standard product from Listawood.

I meant to actually try pressing a print on 100% polyester material. If the print is still dull then it's not the Listawood product at fault.

Morning
I'm pretty sure the product in question's 100% polyester so it's unlikely to be the cause. I'd suggest it would be worth dropping a quick mail with pictures through to Ella or Kris in the office so they can have a look for you. Together with a copy of the print file if at all possible so we can assess colour match.
Other thoughts are that it might be worth reviewing process settings. Over cooking (too much heat, too much time) can dull an image down, as can under cooking. A lack of pressure can result in poor transfer which would look dull. Or there might be a colour profile, saturation, nozzle or setting issue.
Perhaps send the picture and file through first so we can provide feedback without burning through product in the short-term. They should be able to get pretty much straight back to you.
With Kind Regards
Alex
