I've created some decent enough profiles in the past with my Munki.
I need to be able to create profiles for small objects that won't take an A5/A4 print of swatches and can't get flat sheets of the same material to ensure a very accurate profile.
In the past I've made profiles onto white aluminium which have worked for other hard objects, is it necessary to create the profile using the exact material?

Re: Creating Printer Profiles - Munki
I found glass, gloss, matt and fabric gave me a good range that worked.
Re: Creating Printer Profiles - Munki
We ended up using a tight satin fabric for fabrics, and cheap white aluminium sheets for hard substrates, and that served us well for most things
If we had a fabric which was too off white I did make a profile for it

Not used it in some time, it's fine but not as good as someone who has the more expensive units, just useful to have on hand for printers and monitors.
