Best Material for Socks Insert/Jig?

Hello!
I wonder what is the best material for inserts/jigs I use for printing socks. Like those: https://silkysocks.com/products/inserts ... 75fc&_ss=r .

Paper, Wood, Aluminium? What is your material of joice? I need to create some custom inserts and just cannot find anything suitable.
