Hi,
I am trying to do an all over sublimation print on a children’s t-shirt but am having some issues with blank spots due to seams. Does anyone have any tip or tricks that will allow me to cover more of the t-shirt and minimise blank spots?
I am using a standard 16x20 heat press thus the children’s t-shirt – would the process be easier with a big press?
Thanks,
all over sublimation children’s t-shirt
Re: all over sublimation children’s t-shirt
'Cut and sew' is the only true solution. It is very hard to get a good result otherwise. The harder you try and the higher your expectations/standards then themore miss prints you get.

Thanks for the reply but I was hoping for some tip/ tricks I know it will not be 100% perfect but I have seen some YouTube vids and they seem to be getting good results however they are using a big press.

That is the only real solution, unless you can justify a rotary/calander press. Pre-press the shirt to get it flat, but make sure you don't press any creases into it.
Depending on the shirt you might need to put a sheet of paper inside the shirt to stop bleed though -that makes the job of getting a wrinkle free flat surface a bit harder.
Results can be good but wastage can be high so make sure you charge a premium price.
