so im using a Easy press 2 with mdf sublimation blank coasters and finding the middle often fading and not pressing as colourful as the edges.
i know an easy press probably isnt the best for this but working on saving for better machinery. any suggestions?
tried 200 degrees for 50 seconds and 190 for 55 id say medium pressure.
sometimes they come out perfect other times fading in the centre rarely around the edges.
I think its possible the mat im using just isn't firm enough for the pressure and is dipping? is this possible? or possibly to much pressure? its left a little indent in the middle of the mat now.
MDF coasters faded
Re: MDF coasters faded
I would say the press is the issue, A cheap clam shell type (£80-100 ish) should give great prints ( I know mine does although I have moved to an Atkins now as I needed the extra size)
