Horizontal Lines Outside of Design, Not on the Print, Appearing on Fabric

Hello,
Could anyone be able to help me with why I sometimes get horizontal lines outside of the design? On one image you can see there are no lines/ink between the two stags, but on the fabric there is a faint line connecting them, almost like the ink has bled and followed threads, smae with the second image on a different part of the print. Although the rogue lines are faint, it's a black design on a white fabric so the white needs to be white.
I pre-press to get out moisture, lint roll to remove any stray threads, tear the print to remove press lines and check the print really carefully for spots/dust etc... so I am not sure where else I'm going wrong. 85% come out perfectly, but the other 15% have silly issues like this. This is medium pressure at 180 - according to manufacturing instructions.

What printer are you using? From what I can see they look like pin wheel marks, ink on the wheel is transferring onto the print. Can you see the lines prior to pressing?

I use an Epson ET 14000.
The lines are not on the print at all, nor are they there, after pressing. They just appear on the fabric after, nowhere else.

If it is pin wheel marks then it means the ink isn't dry on the paper by the time the paper is fed through the pin wheels. I have been having the same problem with Titan tacky paper recently. Some light weight papers can't handle large amounts of ink.

Trying setting the printer to plain paper and printing at best quality. This will reduce the amount of ink laid down and slow the print speed down long enough for the ink to dry before it crosses the pin wheels.

Thank you. I do use "normal paper" but don't use a high setting to keep the amount of ink on the paper low, but I'll try normal paper with the best quality setting and see how it goes

High quality won't reduce ink coverage, but it will take longer to print giving ink more time to dry into the paper.

From memory that is very thin lightweight paper. Sounds like you are having the same problems I am having with the Titan paper - it is so thin that it can't absorb the ink quickly enough and it is still partly wet when it is going over the pin wheels.
Slowing down the printing by increasing print quality has helped me reduce the problem, but there are still too many misprints to be acceptable.

Why don't you try using a better quality paper? I can print all day on 120gsm S;race paper without any issues. As soon as I use 65gsm paper I get issues.

The Titan paper is about to get hung on a nail in the toilet....
