Hello there,
I am still pretty new to heat pressing, and I am still not sure about the use of teflon pillows.
Do I need to use teflon pillows when doing Dye Sublimation? What are the benefits? and do I need to adjust settings?
Thanks in advance.

I only use a Teflon pillow when pressing an item with buttons like a polo shirt.

Use a sheet of teflon below and above your item but not a pillow. This will protect the platens from getting dye on them. We do use a teflon pillow but only for jute bags and unlike mrteajunkie we do not do clothing.
