Re: epson B1100
Can you upload a picture of the 'faded picture' once it's pressed onto the mug/ material or whatever?
Re: epson B1100
Does the print out need to look the same as the screen, or does it change once its on mug.
Ride it like you stole it shiny side up.
Re: epson B1100
Ok the prints are dull but they are still the same colors as the screen, Right?.

Re: epson B1100
no lol
the test pic i printed out for example there is a small pot or something in the corner that is mint green
on the paper it looked near enough white
but once it was printed it was green
the paper is VERY mis-leading
the 1st print out i done i was on the phone within seconds to the supplier screaming at them that they had sold me a load of rubbish
poor bloke bless him

Re: epson B1100
I tried using the matte option in 2 ways
normal photo (standard setting)
super photo
the super came out way wrong, the colours were no where near what they should of been, black came out green
and the photo looks and prints exactly the same as normal paper
so looks like i will be buying new ink tomorrow lol
and giving that a try
next question is....
swapping ink
obviously i have 1/2 tanks full of this other ink lol
and ink in the carts as well
emptying the ciss is easy just draw it out and bin it or put it in another container etc
but will it matter with the 2 dif inks mixing in the carts?
i really don't want to start buying new ciss system as well

Re: epson B1100
Here are the images i just printed
one is the original my mate sent and the other is of it actually printed on a mug

looks horrid doesn't it????
plus with it being round it looks weird as well
but i'm sure i've read a thread about round images so will have a scout thru

what i've started doing biker is i bought some cheap poly material off ebay
and am testing with that
although it still doesn't give you a good finish like a mug so its hard to tell but you can get the idea from it
and any mistakes i make i keep them and use them to practise on
(there are a lot of mistake mugs lol)

The poor colours look like a profiling issue. Even with the supplied profile, my greyscales used to turn out reddish (nowhere near as bad as your pic here, but it was still present). It took a custom profile to fix it properly.
If the image was round on the paper, it'll be round on the mug. You could prove this by measuring it from edge to edge and letting the ruler roll around the mug while measuring.
Paper is two-dimensional, the mug is three-dimensional, and this causes the optical illusion that makes the circle look like an egg.
