Wood and Leather
Re: Wood and Leather
Can you use sublimation on wood and leather and if so do you need to treat it first. Something like a special caoting type stuff.
Ride it like you stole it shiny side up.
Re: Wood and Leather
As these aren't white then the final picture wouldn't be too good (and you would have to coat them). I think TMT CPM6.2 papers go onto woods and leathers fine.
Re: Wood and Leather
I used embossing but I wanted to print designs instead of photos. We do Altar boxes and wanted to print "magical designs on leather and wood".John G;15793 wrote:onto leather your talking embossing, not printing.

We stock TMT CPM6.2 papers for use in specific laser printers, but don't stock wood or leather products for that purpose. Have a look at TMT website - I think they have a picture of a leather shoe printed up with CPM somewhere on their site.

Re: Wood and Leather
Don't think leather melts - after all if it's cow hide then it shouldn't melt. That said I don't know many cows that stand in heat of 160 - 180 degrees C!Does leather melt,
