Is black not coming through because you are low on ink? Can you please give a recap on what you've done, what worked and what didn't?

I've read that if the ink gets too low in most CISS systems it will cause problems such as this.

Buy a Ricoh and give up on it. If you read other posts you will see the D120 is a pile of poo. I had one with the same problems, changed chips, syringed until I felt like an extra from Trainspotting and eventually the time and ink it was costing and the stress of not being able to produce items was not worth it. Bought a Ricoh and have never had to do anything other than change a cartridge. Chalk it up to experience or persevere and take years off your life with the stress.

I'm using d120 over 2 years now. sometimes it has got problems to print particular colour. So I pull out ciss cartridges and give them a good shake :P (try to cover from the bottom to avoid splashing ink everywhere) then I'm printing straight back again with no problems. It's probably fast drying ink or some dust/dirt in ciss

Sounds daft but, a few times with my D120 I wet my finger tip & rubbed the nozzle which was blocked & that always did the trick too. Now been running a S21 for over a year now & never had one single issue with it.
