magic touch hardwood coasters
Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
I've not seen these, but they look thin from the picture. TMT usually sell good stuff so I'm sure they'll be okay, but just not the same thickness and quality. You get what you pay for.smitch6;18156 wrote:how do they compare to your ones i usually have martin?
Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
They are like a beer mat with a glossy surface. Compressed paper rather than wood. If you need a cheap budget coaster then they actually print okay. I bought some for the jig part, thinking it might save me time for the unisub coasters.
Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
i thought they might be that sort of thing as they go through the printer by the looks of it
strange hey
oh well i'll keep buying the better quality ones for now

Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
They print the same as any other sublimation item. We printed some for a wedding as they were only needed for the one day and suited the purpose.
Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
yes for something like that i'd say they are ideal
but not for what i'm after
thats a pity as they were cheap i was thinking ohhhhh
the sub coasters are a brill product but are rather expensive unfortunately
although i much prefer them to the fabric ones
but i wouldn't buy a coaster for £2 or even more
and you really want to sell them in packs of 4 so £7-8 is quite expensive in my eyes
maybe its just me being tight lol

A personalised or bespoke branded coaster can sell for £4 if you have the right customers. Your not competing with the mass produced market.

Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
They are hard surface but not as strong as a standard wooden coaster.
Pricing a coaster is the same as a mug. You can pick a mug up for £1 if you wanted.

Re: magic touch hardwood coasters
They look quite interesting for the cheap-end of the market. With the relatively expensive price for regular coasters, I've been selling more and more of the fabric-topped ones recently - simply on the grounds that they're cheaper. This product might well be worth investigating.
