it happnes sometimes to me when I'm not using a printer for long time. first try to set up printing options for best possible quality. If that won't help, what I'm doing is pulling out cartridges and shake them well (cover from the bottom so you won't spill ink all over the room). If that won't help, I use syringe to force a bit of ink from cartridges (same as you fill up CISS system for a first time).
That's what works for me if I'm getting lines on printing, I blame CISS cartridges for that, for some reason they're getting dry or maybe letting air in

i'm not using CISS cartridges, my cartridges are same as original ricoh cartridges but with sublimation ink inside, they are brand new. i have no ICC Profile and use the sawgrass profile, the colors are not saturated from the begining. Is the icc profile а problem?

Yes, ICC profiles are specific to the ink, so as the ink you are using is not Sawgrass, then the Sawgrass profile will not work. If your supplier does not have an ICC profile for the inks in the printer model you are using, then you will need to get a custom one made. Either send a PM to Paul on this forum, or search Ebay.

I got mine from China a couple of days ago. It's brilliant. It arrived to the UK in 4 days and my first couple of prints are flawless and the colours match exactly my previously commercially printed mugs. I am using the Sawgrass profile on the Ricoh printer and it's superb. Whole set up for about a third of the cost of the UK price. (printer bought for £89 online in UK)
