Yeah kaz....it would be no problem ...i have a lot of storage space in the new shop and a large lwb high top van 140 boxes of mugs no problem lol

update...ive had a quote from listawood for the finished article. Works out quite expensive. Of course because im not vat registered as yet... i have to pay plus vat prices...this is why its making more sense for me to do it in house atm. Its working out at around £1.63 per mug delivered for the 5000 batch and £1.73 per mug delivered for the 1000 batch. If my business was more established i feel that taking less with a simple markup would be fine but at the stage im at with this business im tempted even though i know it would be a mammoth task to do them in house.

Any thoughts??

that is the price it costs me to produce the mug and deliver it. No profit on there and no labour costs

It was Duraglaze then. Sorry, I'm partly crossing over to another thread in my query. I know that is nearer their other mug cost. You should ask for the budget mug as that will still have a very good coating even though they claim not. Generally on their pricelist it is 20p cheaper.

ive had a very good quote to outsource this potential order. I wont go into details at this stage but I will say that the price ive obtained is cheaper than if i was to sublimate all the mugs myself and includes delivery in unbranded white label packaging. I am definately gonner outsource this and will be submitting my quote to my client on Monday.

Hi,

Without wanting to sound nosey, any chance of letting me in on who might be giving you a good quote. Mainly interested as this is our area and companies like Listawood, Keramikos etc are our direct competitors. I doubt it is either of these 2 or the likes of Impact, Promotional Ceramics etc. so just wondering who else you might have found out there.

I'm always keeping an eye on the higher volumes throughout the industry to see what our competitors are upto.
