Re: printing double sided flag
I have been asked to print a plain white flag double sided, normally i would do this in vinyl, but there image is more suited to dye sub - so i am going to give it ago, obviously it needs to be printed both sides, - any tips to prevent major bleed of colours etc ? thanks

Re: printing double sided flag
Never having done flags before, would it not be easier to do both sides at once?
Re: printing double sided flag
Never done flags but will the material not be too see through for a double sided sub print?
If it is you could print 2 separate flags and hem them together with a cotton block out sandwiched in the middle.

Re: printing double sided flag
If it is the thicker material you will probably still get a certain amount coming through but if the design is done so the opposite side more or less matched up then that should be fine. The thinner imported regular style of flags are much thinner and you will find it virtually impossible to get a decent print both side. Been printing flags for this past week on the very thin stuff and there is no way we could get a double sided print. In the past when we had a request for double sided and the order big enough for China, they then stitched 2 together on thin material as John mentioned.

Thanks guys thats what i was concerned about, the flags i can get will be thin, so i think the 2 sewn together sound good

Re: printing double sided flag
What size flags? If they are the smaller car or garden type flags the 2 ply flags I got from Conde are not sewn at the end so a sheet can be inserted to keep the image from bleeding. Once you are done I spose you could sew it up or just leave it as is. Check your local flag supplier to see if the ends are open before ordering single ply flags.

Rich, you guys have so much more available to you in the states than what we have here, sadly
I LOVE Conde's website, but they don't ship to the UK

I was going to say exactly the same thing Kaz. I watch the Conde videos all the time their stuff looks 'quality' !
Pity there's no way of getting it over the water .......

I guess they haven't got a UK supplier then. I doubt there is enough margin on offer for an existing UK supplier to link up with them as I would have thought it to be worthwhile otherwise.
