Re: What i've been upto today

Post by John G »

Hi all,
Been busy doing this today, took longer than expected as I thought it was a repeat but when it arrived it was a LWB, not a SWB. It slowed the job down having to re-cut a lot of the vinyl but I enjoyed doing it apart from a sore shoulder (not getting any younger) and for some reason a stiff neck.

I used to do quite a few vans but some muppet locally is now doing transit sized vans, with full colour prints + lettering to sides, front and back for just over £100.00 - he'll be busy but i'm not going to compete on those prices.

How has everyone spent their weekend?

Cheers John

Sorry to hear about that Paul - nightmare, I feel as if my neck is getting worse by the minute. Me and the wife were going to go for a few drinks tonight, for a change, but I'm bloody knackered.

Nice John - 3 colour design? (blue, black and red).

Weekend just begining really - chasing up on emails, doing designs then back in the shop tomorrow to finish off a big order ready for Monday (oh joy - but like they say, you get nothing out of it unless you put it into it!).

Hi Adam,
Not my design, its for a local franchise so the logo design and the required text was supplied, all I did was the layout. It's a national company but I get to do the vans for the Newcastle branch.

Nice job John.

I have some mugs & key rings to do I also have a few orders to pack up ready to be sent on Monday. I'm also doing my appeal to HMRC plus having to write an objection regarding the planning permission for next doors mega extension (2 bed semi is going to be a 6 bed semi, they wish). I'm also following & watching the rally from Finland (wish I was there) plus the F1 from Hungary. Already done the washing & ironing & had some very nice fish & chips for lunch. I'm now trying to think of a cunning plan to murder the idiot riding up & down the avenue on what seems to be the loudest quad in the world. I thought about having a wander to the pub but, thought better not due to my drink problem. I can't afford to drink & that's the problem.

Have a nice weekend y'all.
