Internet Explorer 9
Re: Internet Explorer 9
I was wondering if anyone in the know has tried to uninstall Internet Explorer 9 to go back to using IE8.
I have read a couple of articles online saying you can uninstall IE9 & it will roll back to IE8 without having to reinstall or anything else.
I seem to have been having quite a few issues with IE9 & from looking on the internet so have countless other people.
Many thanks Ian

I hate IE9 with a passion :-/
and if I'm honest, IE8 wasn't much better, used to keep crashing my browser when I was playing flash games and wanting me to re-install flash every day or so, grrrr
I suppose the easiest way to find out is to give it a try.

Thanks Kaz but, just a bit nervous at trying something I haven't done before. Someone once told me how to clean my hard drive up a long time ago & I did exactly what he said & watched everything disappear from my computer.Kaz;28375 wrote:I hate IE9 with a passion :-/

Re: Internet Explorer 9
Got to admit that I stopped using IE because I prefer to use a portable browser. Far more convenient.
Re: Internet Explorer 9
Love chrome Paul - easy and straight forward. Took a few days to get used to but could never go back.

Re: Internet Explorer 9
Have to say I always used IE when everyone else was using Firefox/mozilla etc but IE8 and IE9 were so buggy that I switched to chrome, took a little getting used to but is far slicker and faster than IE. You still have all your tabs (currently 28 open), fav book mark bar but you don't get all the useless toolbars blocking your screen.
You should try chrome for a couple of days you'll prefer it i'm sure.
