I've read elsewhere that preparing your own sublimation blanks is arduous and tedious but I specifically want to use local slate and limestone for some giftware items - so has any one done this or got any feedback on DIY polymers? I was looking at digicoat...

From what I'm told it's difficult to get an even covering yourself and this needs to be done in a dust free environment. I'm not saying it's impossible but I've not heard many success stories....hopefully someone will be along to tell me they have had success!
