image resize software
Re: image resize software
Hi
Does anyone know of a software that i can use to reduce image file size, i am currently using "irfanview" but my images still come out over 50KB when reducing them to 250x250 pixels
i can't go any smaller in size or you won't see image properly.

Re: image resize software
Hi Paul
I've got it set to keep ratio, and to override original files it does reduce size but not by much

Re: image resize software
Use photoshop and save as a gif instead of a jpg, that'll bring the file size down a bit.
Re: image resize software
I don't know what software you're using but everything I use has a slider for jpeg compression. Selecting 80% reduces file size with no noticeable quality difference. Selecting 60% makes the file size even smaller. In all instances, the dimensions of the picture stay the same.
Re: image resize software
You can also use slider in irfaview.
