I wish to buy my sister a cross stitch converter, one that changes photos and images in to cross stitch, I don't do cross stitch and have no idea what is suitable, but I wish to treat my sister to it as she has been ill, can anybody help me, I have been looking at stoik stitch creator 4. In this case price is of no concern.

What about Embird, it can do cross stitch

www.embird.com

Doesn't do a bad job at embroidery either :-)

It's not really all that expensive in real terms, i.e. compared to Wilcom and the others, and as I said it doesn't do a bad job of digitizing for embroidery. I've been using it for about 4 years now as well as with DecoStudio.
