A lot of new starters to the sublimation business are no going for the Ricoh GXe3300 which is an A4 printer and is cartridge based, but you don't need to refill - just buy new and off you go (also a good number of Epson users have also converted to the Ricoh printers). The Epson B1100 printer is an A3 printer, but as you already have an A4 printer then I assume this is large enought for you.

The Ricoh comes with PowerDriver software so you don't need to mess around with ICC profiles (unless you are using a mac, in which case you need to use PhotoShop or CorelDraw - otherwise you can use any software when using a Windows based pc).

Yes the GXe7700 is the most expensive A3 sublimation printer available compared to the two A3 Epson printers that are supported (B1100 and the Photo 1400). The A4 model though is alot cheaper and prices start at around £310 for the A4 model with a full set of sublimation inks.
