Re: what software
I am doing all my designs with GIMP - very good FREE alternative for PhotoShop.
For vector - I am using Inkscape.
I am open source fan

Re: what software
If you go for the Ricoh printer and you are a PC user then you can use any software as the software that you use for sublimation printing is independent of any graphics software you use. If you are a mac user or are going to buy an Epson printer then you will need an ICC profile which are often designed for PhotoShop or CorelDraw so you'll need that specific software.funprint;34520 wrote:hi all,now im getting closer to start my buissness,im trying to find a softeware package for me,ie tshirts and signs anyone recommend which to buy

Re: what software
It also depends on what type of signs and other printing/sublimation you are going to be doing .if you are going to do a cut vinyl sign or t shirts with flex/flock etc would look at Flexisign or signlab but these are not cheap.
With Flexisign you can size off cut and print plus it has a lot of other uses and also you can import from photoshop or corel. It may cost a bit to get but well worth the money,we even use it for mug designs and t shirt prints using our ricoh.
Why not download a few trials and see which one you find most comfortable using and feel gives you the best results for the work your producing.

Re: what software
i tried coral once and couldn't get on with it at all
where as PS i just picked it up pretty quickly
altho i haven't tried coral for a very long time i might be ok with it now
but i have found a lot of things i do i need PS (like the action scripts ) as thats all they will run in so i'm happy with PS

Re: what software
No - I am printing directly from GIMP
But for cutting I am using special softwares.
I have one large cutter and there I am using SignCut Pro and for smaller cutter - Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. With the smaller cutter I want to make rhinestone designs also.
