I always use the post office, and up to now only one parcel has gone for a long visit, never did turn up, but nothing works like clockwork, and on large mugs orders, I always arrange for them to collect. When I have stock delivered only one leave me to the end, and that's DHl and the grumpiest man just dumps it and makes no effort to put it where I want, I always have to hold my mouth closed in-case I say what I think.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but, I'm having another nightmare with Parcel2Go.
At the end of last week I was asked if I could do 12 mugs & get them to the customer early this week so, I worked Sunday to get the mugs done & all packed up & order the courier through Parcel2Go. I decided to use City Link's Next Day delivery so my customer would have the mugs on Tuesday. Now the mugs still haven't been delivered but, Parcel2Go say they might be there tomorrow which will be Thursday. That means if all goes to plan it will have taken 4 days to get there.

Now I contacted Parcel2Go via there live help Tuesday evening & they apologised & said they would email me Wednesday to tell me what had gone wrong & guess what no email. I've just been onto Parcel2Go again via their live help all they say is the parcel might be there tomorrow now. I've asked for a refund & all they say is I can apply for compensation but, they are not liable for any loss or non delivery.

I have to say this is the poorest customer service you can get & it seems nobody at Parcel2Go is willing to take ownership of a problem. By the way if I contact City Link all they say is I have to contact Parcel2Go which again is beyond a joke. Talk about passing the buck back & forth.

The end of last year I had to send a parcel to Melbourne in Australia & I used DHL & that parcel was in Melbourne at the DHL Dept 48 hours after it was collected from my home.

So DHL can get a parcel to the other side of the world in 48 hours but City Link can't get one to another part of England within 96 hours.

Would I use Parcel2Go or City Link ever again I think not.

I book my stuff through Interparcel so no experience of Parcel2Go. As for City Link I always refer to them as Shitty Link. Awful company. They managed to mis-sort one of my parcels from MDP a t the depot the other week, not for the first time. I told MDP not to send my stuff through them again

I've just spoken to City Link & they agree that the service I have received is bad. They have promised a full explanation of what went wrong but it does look like the parcel was on the van that picked it up from me for 2 days.

I'm pleased to say the parcel was delivered to the customer today but 2 days late.

Parcel2Go refuse to discuss any refund at all & their website will not let you leave any negative feedback either.

Can you air your grievance on their Facebook page (or whatever it is): http://www.facebook.com/parcel2go?sk=wall

Just a thought.

well a parcel that i have sent via interlink has been delivered and signed by a "Mr Ticket Office" so whats the betting when my client tries to collect the parcel at the show its not there. special instructions on the parcel, stand number, and phone number, and the driver just drops it off and gets it signed by Mr Ticket Office - apparently he is in trouble for this, but it does not help getting £300 worth of clothing to a client. and at over £10 for the delivery to take into account the value !!

Jonathan, I did that & guess what they remove negative comments from their Facebook page. I've just had a look to see if my posts are they & they've been removed now. I would love to see their feedback if they were on Ebay where they couldn't fiddle them.

Laura, I get the impression most of the couriers are the same with lots of room for improvement.
