Hi all,

I need to do a text fill but i cant do letters or numbers with spaces within them e.g. "O"

Please see the attachment...i need to do a text fill on a "0" with about 40 names but i cant get illustrator to fill without it filling the full shape of the numbers, if that makes sense. I know this is something easy but i always seem to do things the hard way!!!!

any help is good ....argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
thanks
Dave

When I did a couple before Xmas I just manipulated and moved each name by hand (took hours) and I said to myself I would find an easier way to do it.

I was looking at the 'text fill to a shape' option but I never got around to it (i.e create a shape of the number you want).

I can see how this would be possible in Coreldraw but not sure how in the software you're using.
