But Paul, its a business with a website and with trading history, not just items out of a box, providing that an interested party would have some idea of sales figures (i am not saying to put them on here at all gordon so please dont)

If Gordon wanted to split the items up, then fair enough, but 2.5k for a going concern(provising the figures are right) is not going to be too much money for someone that wants to be out and running straight away rather than build up their own business from scratch.

Fair enough. But if iam existing customer and when i see msg on homepage about "sorry we packed up" iam not going to visit this one again. I wonder if thissame will happen with other customers too. Also i would never show my equipment for sale on my site that is producing gifts... Not trying to be asahole. Just saing my 5p worth. Thats all.

Paul's right, hes not helping the potential buyer by advertising the fact on his own site,
regular customers have/will be lost....

by advertising the fact on his own site
There is a reason why Gordon is wanting a quick sale, it may not help to advertise on his own website, but it also may bring in the interest which helps to get a quick sale.

For anyone that wants to get into the business, and be up and running from day one, I think its a good deal and not too much to ask - it is open to offers!

Good Morning all.
You are all right "BUT" I just need to sell this ASAP.

I have had a bereavement and just can't continue with it,

Even if there was "NO" figures or customer base this is still very cheap is it not?. takeaway the web site and it is still priced right, you all know just how much it would cost to replace all the stock and equipment I have, it is still a good buy & almost all new.......

Thank you all.

Paul, never said you were an A*hole, and what you have since put makes a lot more sense than the "overpriced mug press", yes i agree that showing the business for sale on the website is offputting, but gordon needs to sell it.

Gordon, it might be worth putting "this business is for sale" please contact owner, and then if people are interested send them details, as paul says you could be damaging future sales from new and existing customers by putting everything on there.

Good luck with the sale -
