Recommend a Printer

Welcome to the world of "supported" sublimation! I thought you said inks weren't a problem so I assumed you already had these and were just looking for the printer and carts?

I won't go into the details here as we've done it over and over but if you look at the ink cost per ml compared to OEM Epson ink or most other expensive liquids you'll see that it isn't that bad and you'll still make a healthy profit bt you have to be prepared to spend a little up front. Sublimation isn't the quick buck business many think it is

Just to clarify I have no problems with inks or profiles, whats killing me is the refillable cartridge that I bought for my epson 445 was working initally but when I went to try and refill it and reinstall it it no longer was recognised by the printer so im hoping someone else has a simular experence or can recommend a reasonable priced printer as well as some refillable/usable cartridges for around 200 pounds or euros max.

Why don't you just get some more refillable cartridges for your existing printer?

This is always the potential issue with cartridges that use chips. As BMS says, your easiest option would be to just buy new cartridges.

There are printers that don't have chips on cartridges, but they're not Epson printers.

I did and the refilable cartridges worked fine until they needed to be refilled, when i did refill them it would no longer recognise them so reluctant to get more.

Have you spoken to the suppler? They may have fitted single use chips on them. In which case they won't work again after they have gone empty unless they are resettable (but not all single use chips are resettable, or have to be reset before they go less than 25% full).
