Advice please

Hi, I have been asked to put a colour logo onto a dark t-shirt which is something g have not yet done. I have done sub onto white and flex onto dark but not a coloured logo. What's the best flex to print onto with say ink jet or sub onto then press onto t-shirts

Options can include:
Printable Flex with Epson Durabrite Inks
SubliFlock with sublimation inks
SubliDark with sublimation inks
OBM5.6 with colour laser
...probably others will make more suggestions as well...

Thanks I think the sublidark might be a good option you stock that right?? I may have to place a order tomorrow for some. I think the flock might be a bit heavy and warm for this application as its for an O2 shop doing a 24 hour cycle in store.

SubliFlock and SubliDark are both about the same weight. SubliDark is slightly lighter, but both are similar in what they do. The thinnest material is the OBM5.6 for colour laser.

hmmm.... i would do lettering in vinyl and butterfly on paper. but i would also cut it out so there would not be able white background. my opinion.

Yeah I did suggest that to them but the wanted to keep the text blue as its there logo colours and it would hAve got lost on the blue top. Plus it made it stand out on as that's the main reason for the t-shirt.

Just took it to them and they was over the moon.. Was a relief hopefully will bring more work. They are going to hand out my flyers for the whole 24 hours while they do the bike ride for doing the tops. Happy days

You do realise John, that it severly depresses me with my pigment ink and dark transfer paper when I see your images.

Still - that said, it is RATHER impressive (lol)

Morning Adam,

We've been learning what owning a DTG printer involves, the hard way! Just had a month of downtime, compounded by the fact that my day job is basically un-doable & on-call when I'm not in work!! If I was doing printing full-time I'd have had the printer fixed within a few days - I guess it's the price one pays in my situation.

This time I was just getting an error 0001001B displayed on the LCD display. When I consulted All American and explained the fault - they gasped!! I basically had to dismantle the whole printer and replace a selection of parts until the fault/error disappeared! Of course, it was the last part that sorted it. The printhead was one of the items = ouch!!!!

Anyway, we have stacks of printing to do this weekend
