Re: They Have Got To Be Joking!

We bought some of what we thought was bargain mugs from Coralgraph @ £61.99 for 72, and guess what! Yes so far 4 broken mugs some with handle flying off as they are put in the press,( and NO! the pressure is not to high).

My daughter phoned Coralgraph to let them know about the breakages, and was told on the phone that in future she should open the boxes and check each mug before she signs for them, (with of course the lorry driver waiting)
I don't know how many people Coralgraph employ but we certainly don't have the time to stand around checking individual items as stock arrives.
No prizes forGuessing who has has just lost a customer as I will definiately NOT! be purchasing any more mugs from their company.

Jack.

Although I've not experienced this myself, I have heard from at least one other who has.

I don't know what the issue is or what would cause a handle to come flying off when pressed.

I tend to press in an oven, not a mug-press. Don't know if that has anything to do with why I've not seen it happen (yet!).

At the end of the day, all you can do is to vote with your wallet and buy from elsewhere. That's what I would do when I've received mugs that I can't work with (I've done this in the past with more than one supplier).

Same thing kept happening to me, but only with the 10oz mugs.
I never had any problem with the 11oz mugs.
I think it must be that the slight difference in the diameter pinches the handle on the 10oz mugs?
I have since bought a variation of both the plain white and coloured 110z mugs and have to say i have been having great success.
With no VAT and free delivery working out at under a pound total for coloured inner mugs I think they are a bargain.

i had few broken ones that was replaced next day with extra mugs added to the box. I was asked this same if i checked them before sign anything but in my case it was that my box was left in the side door cupboard without signature!! :) when Henry find that out he was not pleased at all as they could not claim insurance. Any way... thats why i am picking them up and there is no one brocken. so it just tell you how gently couriers (or people who load the van night before) realy are and how much they care about content

I had 4 boxes delivered and they were fine. Speaking from a delivery/haulier perspective I can certainly see that there are many opportunities along the way for mugs to get damaged. I appreciate that each mug should be checked before letting the delivery driver go but if there's one sure way to fall out with your busy courier! lol.
