Re: What would you buy with £10k?
For me its someone who is capable of finding more clients for my photography business, along with ways to gain greater exposure in the area such as large billboard etc.

Re: What would you buy with £10k?
its all about getting the right products in and selling for the right prices. People are still willing to pay well for good photographs on good products. Am making good sales with the sublimation slates. as long as your not selling prints for cheap (so many togs i see selling like 5 a4's for a tenner!!) and value digital files well (mines are £25 each) it works out.

For us, it's hard to decide on that budget.
We'd like to upgrade our printers to wider fomat than they currently are, along with a bigger heat press to match (although our studio isn't really big enough to hold two massive printers and bigger press!)
Then there is the wide format scanner, which we should probably replace before the above.
Or, the other way, is to use the money to pay the upfront fees for the shows we'd like to be able to exhibit/sell at, but can't afford to at the moment, or to import more of our stock direct from China in bulk, for both our own use, and to sell on.
There's so many ways we could invest that kind of money, that it would be hard prioritising...
The scanner would give us better quality artwork without as much retouching/correction, and cope better with the various materials we scan from.
The bigger printers/press would give us ability to move into bigger textiles work
The shows would give us more sales to other businesses and direct to the public.
Our other idea, is to rent the flat upstairs to ours (we currently live in a ground floor flat, of a divided up Victorian terrace.) with our studios built at the bottom of the garden. If we could rent upstairs, this would give us more space for living, working, and storage, and it would make us happier to see this house used back as the house it was designed to be!
Maybe that, would be the most important to us, in terms of a happier living/working environment, which would then give us the space to expand the business more comfortably.

I said I would buy the BN_20 and some stock that would leave quite a bit left and I have would like to add to a holiday. It can't be about work all the time, even though it seems that's all I do. S I would have a jolly holiday with sun and sin and and anything else with a s ?,
