I'm looking at setting up my own business (something I've always wanted to do) and I've settled for Dye Sublimation so was very please to find a UK Forum on the subject! :)

To start with I will be selling on-line, I already have a hosting account so just need to choose a domain name and an e-commerce platform to go with.

I'm yet to purchase my start-up kit as I'm still researching what kit I need, I want to start up with as little cost as possible (Marks & Spencers started with a barrow) and take it from there.

I've got lots to learn as I need to know what I need to do tax wise etc. with regards to setting up a part-time business along side my full-time job.

Anyway, enough about me - I'm off to have a look around the forum...

Well Arthur a month ago I came up with the domain name I fancied and then fell across Dye Sublimation and started working on my website. A month later I have a website in progress and I keep adding more categories as I purchase new blanks and templates. It is surprising how long it takes you to just input one new item for sale especially if you are offering it with various options but I am happy with progress so far. I now plan to spend this month getting it all input and tested ready hopefully for an August launch. I have however already sold a few items by word of mouth and the feedback is very encouraging. So lets hope we both make a success of our businesses.
