Great, I've ordered some refillable cartridges to try out. I will let you know how I get on.

Whats a colour profile?

Have a look at these FAQs: http://www.sawgrasseurope.com/faqs

A colour profile works with your computer and printer to ensure the colours on your monitor are a close match to what is ultimately printed on the final substrate (i.e. mug, t-shirt etc) given you are using a different ink to the original inks supplied with that printer.

Please bear in mind that the forum does not allow the discussion of unsupported inks due to the small format printer patent held by Sawgrass. I don't want this thread to turn into an approved/unapproved inks discussion so please take a minute to search the forum and you'll find threads already detailing this, e.g. http://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforum/sh ... t=sawgrass

Hi Aron. ditch your ciss and go for refillables as mrs maggot said ;)
nothing wrong with s22 apart is bit noise :)
every printer is diferent but belive me buddy. they all block. so it does not realy matter if printer is suported or not. this only mean you might have better support from supplier (or not!) but no one can give you 100% warranty that supported printer wont block or sadly just die.

A supplier answering topics at 9.30 at night and not even for something they sold... can't think why everyone recommends them :-)

I had one of my suppliers ask me what I was doing sending them an order in at 3.30am in the morning. I just said I had had a eureka moment and got up to sublimate an item at 3am and decided then was as good a time as any lol

But like Simon said, it is nice to be able to get a response from Martin at BMS late into the evening here on the forum - came in handy for me yesterday.

@Aaron, the best advice is just to trawl the forums old threads and you will pick up loads of useful information to help you avoid hopefully major frustration when starting out. Just remember to mirror your images and put the paper the right way up - something we have all at one time done I am sure
