Re: Cameo User Question

Post by Traynor26 »

Hi all,

i have left it for as long as possible to ask this question, but im not getting anywhere

Decided to follow a few of you and get the Cameo to do some Vinyl Ts, works a treat and i love it, managed to do my first T shirt Yesterday and im very pleased, image below.

However, have also spent 2 days trying to do some basic vinyl stickers, but cant seem to get the settings right, is anyone else using the Sign Vinyl from MDP, can pleeeeaaassseeee ask what settings you are using

A bit long winded, but i got there in the end :-)

Thanks in advance,

Lee

Looks great!! Well done! Well when using sign vinyl in my silhouette I use speed 8 thickness 3 using the blue cap. So start with low level and work one up each time until you get the correct cut. Alot of its trial and error so write down what works each time for everything.

Loving the t-shirt but I agree.. it is a lot of trial and error.. plus different machines will be different settings..

On my machine I cut MDP sign vinyl at force 28 speed 100

Good luck with it hun.. and if your machine has a test cut facility - make that your best friend.. it saves a lot of wasted vinyl :)
