:redface: Hi everyone, my name is Lynne and I'm new here. I have already gained some useful information so thanks for that already.

I have my own small business selling all sorts of home made crafts/gifts which I started about 4 yrs ago now. It all started with hand painted glassware then expanded to other items. I bought all the equipment to print sublimation mugs but have now decided not to pursue this side of printing anymore. I am now looking to do personalised soft toys. I am about to buy a heat press and can't wait to get started printing their little t-shirts. As someone who can never get my name printed on any shop bought items the personalised touch has always appealed to me.

Paul. Thanks for your comment. My problem is the printer. I currently have the Epsom B40W. The Visi-Sub CISS system I purchased never worked properly - they sent me a brand new one which is still in the box never used. Opted for refillable cartridges which worked for a while but because there are periods between me using the printer the nozzles have now blocked on the printer and i am unable to get a clear print from it. It's driving me nuts to be honest and have had to let a few customers down cause the printer didnt work when I tried to fulfill the order. I'm thinking if selling all my mug printing equipment off - the mug presses were amazing - I have the DG5 - multi mug press.

Would it not be worth changing the printer? I got all my stuff from Martin @ BMS, with a bit of advice as well, and the only faults I've had have been my own error. The equipment is exactly what I hoped it would be.

if you planing print sublimation gifts but you not going to use your printer to often then ricoh would be best choice as there is far less blockages. this is what people say as i am not ricoh user.

Hi Lynne and welcome from another noobie to the forum! I have in the last 2 weeks learnt soooo much from these guys it has been a god-send!

Yeah Paul. I have heard fab things about the Ricoh printers but they all seem to be a little out of my price range. Also my very first love is my hand painted glassware and I have luckily managed to source glass mugs and they seem to be doing really well so think I'm gonna stick with that.

I'm looking forward to doing the soft toys with printable tees though - I have a range of pictures I have drawn myself and put onto cards and in frames and I'm excited about transferring them to teddy tees as well and maybe kids tees in time.

I really appreciate the comments/advise everyone has given so far. You all seem like a lovely bunch of guys and gals. I already spent most of yesterday bending Justin's ear via email before I even joined the forum. So thanks everone
