Which A4 Brother Printer ?

Hello everybody.

I have been looking into getting a brother printer for a while now and i am about to take the plunge. But i am not sure which one to get.

I recently read in the forum that MFC 5910dw less than 6 months old broke down. However it was covered by warranty so good times on that one.

I have also read on the DPC315 which looks like a nice neat printer and is more suitable to the space i have.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes i know they are not supported apart from info you can get from forum. I am also wanting the big carts so if anybody knows of a good supplir for them that would be good.

You may be asking why i dont look for stuff my self.. Answer is i have and seem to be going round in circles so i thought if i created a post where all the answers would be in one place then it will make my life easier...lol

yeah i know but the i wanted the information all in one post for me so that i can help make my mind up as since those posts there are more newer models out and wondered if anybody else was using the latest models.?

hi paul.. yeah i have been looking at them but the model i was looking at was black. How long have you had it for ?

i dont have this one. i have older one but you can not have it any longer.

i think black ones are only differ in one feature. wireless.

ahhh right.. well i need one fast as my epson has just given up. How quick can you do a profile for paul.. think im just gonna take the and get a A3 model.

Wondering if we need some new sections to the printers area - one for Epson, one for Ricoh, and one for Brother? Obviously there is crossover in some people's issues, but then there are also things which are specific to each brand.
Obviously a decision for Justin and the mods, but thought I'd voice the idea. May make finding info like the OP wanted easier if things were collated in such a way.

Does any know where to get the xl carts for the brother machines. Seen them on ebay but just need to make sure they are good. From ink girl i believe..
