There is a difference in that with ebay you are protected by their ebay policy, having had experience with the policy I must say that it does work. That said, I do agree with you that even if the member here has minimal posts I would not want to miss out on the opportunity of purchasing secondhand kit. I suppose in this instance Paul, we must put our faith in Justin which I certainly do (and I am sure you do also) as he does a fantastic job in keeping this forum on the straight and narrow. As you can see in this instance the seller did contact Justin first so the member has done the right thing.
Perhaps though, the rules of the forum could state that anyone with less than "XX" number of posts must contact Justin first to confirm.
Good luck in your sale Jimp which I personally think is a little overpriced, but if you can get it then good on you.
