and first mug printed.....!! Really happy with the results although I was a numpty and forgot to order heat tape, so I'm now going to search for the brown tape from tesco someone recommended as a stop gap!!!! Managed to get an amazing red through the Powerdriver (the icc profile couldn't match it..long story....had to install and re-install both so thought I'd try it with just the icc profiles first as recommended by Lwood......staying with Powerdriver now!!) Thank you for all the information that's given on these forums......now for a night of printing!!! ;O)
Photos will follow but I'm away to do the school run right now!!!!

Cannot really tell due to the photo but it looks like you have a decent press that prints top to bottom - I couldn't do that on my coralgraph mug press, it would fade to much.

I heated up the mug's bum (as per advice found on here)..wrapped it in paper and folded over the bottom (more advice) and didn't put it right down to the bottom of the press (yep, you guessed it) so yes, it does go right down...however, the other side is slightly squinty 'cause I don't have tape, but I'm not showing you that side!!!!! Oh well...lesson learnt....this is now MY mug and it had a flaw round the rim anyway!!!!

Looks great Gayle :-) Personally I prefer to leave a 5mm gap top and bottom as I think it works in better with the gaps next to the handle. That said, it't great that you can achieve full wrap and this will be useful for you in the future :-)

Hi Justin, thank you....yes, I'm going to leave a small gap too....I just had to 'wing' it for the first ones as I was too impatient to wait for tape!!!
