Re: Sawgrass customer services

Post by TonyM »

Hi all,
Gotta say I have just had the best customer services from Sawgrass.
Had a problem re-installing my printer AGAIN!
I contacted Sawgrass and told them I was struggling.
I had the printer working, but it didnt recognise Powerdriver. Weird as it always did before?
I had it registered working on some programmes but not others.
I got a mail from Dan Moss at Sawgrass, and what a gent he was.
He took remote control of my computer whilst talking to me on the phone.
He was confused too as it was behaving very strange. It would print with powerdriver on corel as long as it was potrait, but failed to find the driver if it was landscape? Powerpoint could not preview and only recognised the powerpoint driver when it felt like it.
Dan basically worked for half an hour whilst I sat and watched remotely.
He then phoned me back and I printed off a couple of my designs as he watched using the programmes I had trouble with.
I joked to him as he had to do tests and nozzle checks etc that he was wasting my truepix paper.
He apologised and said he would wait whilst i changed it for copier paper. He only used 4 so I let it ride as I was glad to just get it sorted.
I am very happy with the service and result.
All I can say is, if a new starter reads this, is that support and expertise is paramount.
Dont be thinking, Oh I can get this for pennies on Ebay.
Invest in your equipment and the follow up service that you get with that investment.
If Sawgrass have a stall at the NEC Sunday. I am going to tell them so.

Always good to hear.

Doubt if they will be at P&P but they will definitely be at Fespa this year

But remember that Ebay is just another route to market, and not necessarily a sign of something being cheap/low quality.

It's good to know that the premium paid for their inks actually has some worth.
