photoshop problem

hi, i have photoshop cs6, ive been watching some tutorials, and ive noticed that on the filters section i only have like 9 filter options, when other people on youtube have more like 13 options, including ones such as texturize or sketch, which i dont seem to have the option of, does anyone know why? is there a plug in i need to install to get all the filters? thank you

Hi Scott

Some filters only work with specific colour modes. Try changing your image to RGB or GREYSCALE etc and they should come in.

hi, ive found the problem, just thought i would share incase someone else has the same problem, go to edit, preferences, plug ins, then click the show all box, and now all the filters are there
