I've always used epson kit until today when I thought I would crack open the Ricoh we bought from BMS just before christmas, Now I have got to say this printer is pretty quick but I just cant get black on white metal iphone plates its more a dark grey, now the Epson 1400 has no problem at all printing black how it should be.
Does anyone have any tips, I'm using the correct profile and people keep in mind we're mac users so no power driver. We also notice the black turns a lovely if we use our normal temp times of 170c and 90secs on the epson.
Any advice would be welcome, as i feel i am pulling my hair out with this thing.

It is recommended for Ricoh printers to reduce your time by 10-20 seconds. Might be worth giving that a try.

We use 190c for 50 seconds on phone covers using a 3110DN and the blacks come out brilliantly.

Still no look on this issue, tried 180c for 30, 40 and 60 secs and all come out brown instead of black, starting to feck me off now

this is time for normal sublimation ink. not for ricoh.
