Re: Document text not printing correctly from Coreldraw to Hp Printer
So im trying to print some letterheads with our logo on. Using coreldraw x6 on a4 size paper. Sent to print to a HP Laser printer which is also set to a4 page but the text is printing on the wrong place...........
This is what im trying to print but the bottom text prints 3 inches from the top text instead of right at the bottom.Any ideas?

A stupid question on my behalf but have you got the layout set to Align all Left?

Re: Document text not printing correctly from Coreldraw to Hp Printer
A couple of questions.
Firstly, if you do a Print Preview does it show it in the right place? If it does then the problem is probably with the printer settings. If however it shows something more in keeping with what is actually being printed then it is more likely to be in your Corel print settings.
Also, check that within the layout tab (presumably there is such a thing on X6) that you have As In Document selected
If the above does not work then draw a box the size of the A4 sheet with a white outline and no fill. Now try and print with Fit To Page selected. This will mean it will be slightly smaller but is a work around until you solve the issue.

I will try these settings thanks. The print preview is all correct. I have a feeling its the printer but all settings I've looked at are A4. Lol Arko! I couldn't upload the other pic to show the actual print out. The above is how I want it printed but its coming out with only 3 inches of space in between rather than text right at the bottom and top.

Looked at every setting still no luck! So I chopped off the bottom and left the logo and info at the top of the page and printed them. Will contact Hp and update what I find

just a thought, view in wireframe, just to make sure there is nothing there that should not be then save to pdf and try printing from there
