New member needs help!

Hello all!
I am a new member and just starting out. I have been practising with my heat press and are very pleased with the reults, however i am having problems with i phone metal inserts. They come out faded, not true colours, the blacks are faded and not sharp. I am pressing at 180 degrees for 60 seconds with light pressure and the metal face down can anyone suggest what i may be doing wrong? I have removed the protective tape. Everything else i have pressed has come out perfect and colourfull.
Also i have purchased a 3D vacuum pree and have succesfully produced phone cases using transfer paper but cannot get good results using film. Is there anyone out there using this machine with film?
Any help would be appriciated thanks!
