Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
i am getting it from a company in China (well shenzhen not really china). There was a slight issue with the shipping however it is on its way. Should be here in a couple of days. i will also be ordering around 3 more for my business. The more i buy the cheaper it is since i save on freight. i have a forwarder agent in china so i save a bundle in bulk shipping. Will also be ordering large quantity of blanks like cell phone cases (some are just normal blanks while other i have them custom made), crystal keychains, mugs, tshirts etc. If you like i could always order some extra (please remember i am not promoting this @_@). The forwarder i use is kinda cool. They will help me separate items and reship to different people XD. I will post up my invoice for stuff so if people are interested i could always buy some extra. all cost will be shared of course..
Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
I think for blank stock test samples would need to be available as there is a lot of junk coming from across the water.

Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
Yep for sure. The machine i ordered is coming with samples as well. On top of that the phone cases which i am having custom made are according to my drawings and materials. This means that the finished product is of good quality. However because i choose to use the best materials and stuff it cost me about 1.2 USD per phone case. Here is some pics of an iphone 5 case which has a sublimation shell and inner silicon bumper.

Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
Hi, i am new to this industry and have recently purchased this machine. I have been testing it on iphone cases for about a week and so far i am pleased with the results using paper. I am however having difficulty in using the gold backed film which i was hoping would produce better results but so far i cannot achieve a good result. I have tried various times and temps but to no avail. If you experiment with your machine using film please let me know how you get on.
What i would say is i have seen better image and colours using paper and blank cases with a matt finish rather than gloss.

Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
I am using-
Ricoh 7700 printer
Trupix paper
Sublijet r ink
I phone 4 and 5 blanks from BMS with cooling jigs
Machine was 1200 with vat from BMS.
I have ordered some other blanks for other phones and tablet cases and also jigs from sz microtech in china. I had some samples a few weeks ago and they seem ok.
I have been pressing at 195 degrees for 9 mins. Halfway through i tend to gently squeeze the edges of the case so the sides sublimate clearly.
I am pretty pleased with the results but as i said before the best image results have been on matt finish cases.
You will find that when you set the tempreture it will go up slightly higher, i dont know why it does that but i set mine at 195 and it regulary operates at 200-205.
I have not tried other products yet as i also purchased a flatbed press to do other things.

<---- Blue is cheap one
I think you have those cheap jigs right? ive been told those are not as good for a final product. Ive ordered both just to be sure. The one of the left is 50 USD each and they maintain the shape of the case without even the slightest warping. Have you noticed any warping or dipping?

Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
So i just received the machine today and it was larger then i thought. The problem is now that i have the machine, i decided to unpack my epson artiasn 1430 however no matter what i do i cannot get it to print right. Clean after cleaning and nozzle print checks. For some reason the light magenta and light cyan do not print right on the nozzle check. There are spots missing. Trying to do everything i can buy holy crud cleaning waste a lot of ink. Maybe it is better if i mail it back for another one. Any suggestions?
Re: 3D sublmation Machine Review
Highly unlikely it's the printer. Most likely the inks/ cartridge system your using. Put the genuine inks in and if everything works fine then the printer is not at fault.XpressDesigns;68883 wrote:So i just received the machine today and it was larger then i thought.
