DPI?

Hi Everyone.
Hope you are all well.
Just wondering if a picture comes into photoshop at 100 dpi, do i need to up the dpi to get a better print for my plates?

If the picture is large then you can reduce the size and up the dpi without loss of quality. If you have a small picture and just increase the dpi you'll find the picture will pixelate and not look good at all.
