Logobear is correct (again )

Also, as an owner of both systems it might help if I point out what I consider the disadvantages of TMT White and Versacam White

TMT WHITE
WOW Paper very expensive (supposed to be dropping to about a £1.00 a sheet shortly)
Restricted to A4 as the A3 is not recommended (only Xpres sell the A3 which in my opinion says something about it)
You have to feed each page individually (I had a run of 100 sheets yesterday and you have to stand there feeding each page), took about 10-15 mins
Black is more expensive to run and not as good as a CMYK laser printer
WOW paper is a two step process to press
You need a very good/very expensive heat press

VERSACAM
Slower to print
Only works with sharp images, you can not do fading or feathering around the edges
You need to create a cutting path for anything you kiss cut to a shape
A4 is about 83p plus VAT a sheet and probably will never come down from that
Has a thicker touch
Weeding can be difficult on small text for dark garments
Machine costs double or even treble the price

If anyone can think of other disadvantages it would be worth adding to the list

I'm going to try this for now, http://www.themagictouch.co.uk/acatalog/TMT_OKI_A4.html
ive had a few transfer requests for tshirts etc so hopefully this will do, spoke with Dave from TMT he is sending me a example pack but I'm looking for a new printer anyway so I'm guessing with a 3 year warranty this is the one for me, I asked what did people do before the white toner came about and he said that the printer does the same but in 4-5 steps not 2 like the white toner one, so at £1500 difference in price I'm going to try it.

From what I know of the old WOW system it was a bit of a faff.

Do not get dismayed when you first do them as it does require skill and I am sure you (like anyone) can master it.

It would probably be worth you going to visit TMT and get some instruction in their offices. Not only will it help in that they can show you exactly what to do and where (if you do) go wrong. But also the samples you do to get the hang of it will be their paper and not yours

Re comment by Socialgiraffe "You have to feed each page individually"
This is not true, we keep the i sheet in the 711w printer cassette and print as required.
the second part M sheet is sensitive to humidity and must be stored in the plastic bag, but the i sheet is robust and you can do what you want with it.

Re comment about 'old' wow 7.2 through normal CMYK laser - agree, it is a faff, - avoid!

Also, there is a tip on here I think from Pisquee....

With the TTC paper, try and hand rip the edges if you can. Apparently this weakens the impression left by the press.
