Re: day for hell

Post by jennywren »

I've just had the day for hell, I never knew that foul swearing was in my make up and at my age I should know better, and I had to wait to get in the car at the end of the day to use it, my poor husband cringed in the driver seat as I swore like sailor. I think if one driver had done anything on the way home you'd be reading about it in the Sun, I can understand why some people blow a gasket and say and act like a two year old because I came close. I knew it was going to a bad day when the first customer asked me if i sold shoelaces. I sale Giftware and Military Insignia, I felt like saying DO I LOOK AS THOUGH I SELL SHOELACES YOU........ and that was the best thing that happen. Am I the only one to feel the the urge to say what I really think and want to throw my toys out the pram, and want to act like a mad women. I'm going for a shower before the put me in anger managment, lets hope that works.

In a way, I'm glad I don't have a B&M shop

Hopefully the cold shower will cool you down and make you feel better :)

feel much more mellow now, the rat bag and mad women head is gone now,I think the trouble is I work all day then come home do the house, catch up on orders, post them and the so forth, plus all the others things all of us have to do (like most of us). Funny enough I had book today off, but one of the staff could'nt make it so I did it, maybe that put me in a mood before I even started work.

years ago i had a customer who sold bathrooms, he kept a big blackboard on the wall behind him and written on it were such things as

pants, 1962 landrover heater hose, stamps, milk etc etc

everytime someone asked for somthing "unusual" (well for a bathroom shop) he would chalk it up on the board - the heater hose always made me laugh as apparently he said to the guy, i might have a '73 one, and the man said that would be no good at all it had to be 1962

i can`t believe this but it`s happened again.

A man waited around to be served then asked for a first class stamp.

I am thinking of rebranding the shop name from FUJI IMAGE SERVICE to POST OFFICE now
