Custom Printed Candles

Not sublimation this one - I think they'd make a mess in a mug press!
But, wondering if anyone has had to outsource getting custom printed candles before, and has any recommendations of good companies to use.
Preferably UK based.
We're interested in getting some made, but don't know who would be best to approach, apart from looking on Google (which I am doing too, but there's no knowing whether they're any good from finding them that way!)

Don't know of any companies but can you not use water slide decals for this?

I'm not sure what processes are needed, whatever it is needs to be high end quality though - intended market is design-led luxury/gift for wholesale to retailers and direct sale to end customers, rather than for one-off personalisation.

You can buy a candle printer! I remember a few years back looking at them. Sorry can't help with a contact but if you google candle printer I am sure you will find some.

We can do these with waterslide and have done for years for one-off personalisations, got hundreds of candles on the shelf too!!

I have a feeling though that you may need them to be pad printed directly for your market -let me know if you want any more info though.

Ooh, candle printer - hadn't even thought of looking for one of them, assumed we'd have to outsource them, but, what's one piece of machinery (new toy!) to buy

DCT 4.5 waterslide from Magic Touch is a laser paper that can do the job.
In our limited experience, it is a small market .....

Did you ever go ahead with this ? a customer wants to add candles to a range of other products I do for them. I was considering using waterslide decal printing, but am not sure, so popped "candle" into the search bar and came up with this really old thread.
