First effort at printing on photo slate. Have to say I love the finish and can't wait to start selling these :) Already got it in the window of my shop. Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!

About 11 miles from Looe, just as you cross the bridge from Devon into Cornwall, hope you get to make the most of it.

How do you get on with the slates? Just about to source some actually but not looked into prices etc yet.
My only concern is that I often have problems producing place mats and I may get the same syptoms with these. Having said that when I get my new pneumatic membrane (inflatable) press it should be a breeze.

Yeah I love it down there! Hoping to pop down for a couple of days soon fingers crossed. I love the slate! I was a bit worried as well but as long as you pre heat the slate first then you shouldnt have too much of an issue. Ooo pneumatic press.. seen them in action and they are fantastic! I personally think prices are good and profit margins could be fantastic depending on your client base.

Lets hope the weather lasts for you then hey.
Can I ask where you buy yours? To be honest I don't think I will do lots. I dont seem to do lots of anything like this now, unfortunately the demand for it in my shop has really dropped hence my absence from here for a while, bout time I spiced it up a bit maybe. We have been asked to cook up some ideas for some local landmarks and this coud just do the job.
