Re: Which printer should I look at next?
I've owned a Ricoh and a cheap Epsom sx130 printer, I'm now looking into a larger sublimation printer A3 or larger. What do you guys recommend? I've got inks so would rather something I can refill myself.

What's your budget, and how much space can you spare?
Are you wanting to stick to more sit on a desktop orientated printers (up to A2)
Or wide format printers (on their own stand/legs)

A3 desk top would be fine. Possibly another type of Epsom but which one?
Re: Which printer should I look at next?
A lot depends on what you want to print : high or low resolution graphics, photographics, vectors, and what substrates you are looking to print on - for example, you do not need the same quality of print for textiles as you do for an MDF or ChromaLuxe panel Also depends on throughput : for example an Epson 4880 is a lot more expensive than a Ricoh 7100, but the cost-per-print is appreciably lower on the Epson.
An Epson 1500 will give you A3 possibilities with extended colour gamut, but requires attentive maintenance.

Re: Which printer should I look at next?
My Epson 1500 has performed flawlessly since I bought it, remember they print A3+ which is my main reason for keeping it...until I can get a bypass tray for the 7100
My personal opinion, having used a 4880 for some time I was far from impressed. We had it as an 8 colour print. If I was looking at going A3+ I'd be looking at wide format.

Wide format is a bit to big for me just yet, will look at 1500 on Internet now,

Martin at BMS can supply you with 1500, cart + tube connector kit + ArTainium inks, which come with their own ICC profiles

I set my 1500 up using a CIS from City Ink Express as (imo) these are the best units. If you don't need any bigger than A3+ it's hard to beat.
