Has anyone tried this? I've been asked to quote to sublimate onto USB twister sticks but haven't tried it! Anyone tried it already?

Not tried to sublimate but CPM would work from TMT.

If you want to be really fancy then once printed I would suggest coating it with a spray varnish afterwards to give it a little bit more durability.

Hi Guys, we buy a lot of USB from the far east and have done for nearly 10 years. We get such a great price and service and can buy as low as 25 pieces at a time, that it is not worth sourcing them locally. I have been working with the same supplier for this time and would be really nervous as to the quality of the chips inside the USB if we were to move supplier. We do dye sublimation AND produce epoxy domes labels in house and have not been tempted to try to brand USB's in house!!!

How much do you charge to supply and sublimate a USB? Do you have any minimum order?

Hi Judebill, Sorry we don't actually do these in house for the reasons mentioned in
my post. Sorry. We can supply branded USBs from the far east on as low as 25 or 50 pieces. Leadtime would be 2 weeks though.

Hi,
I am intregued with the comments from everyone regarding sublimating usb's in house.Would love to do my own inhouse.
I have had quotes from uk suppliers flashbay for customised printing, but feel the small volumes I would want find them still too expensive, but would consider lower volumes your supplier is offering.
Who are they and what do they charge for say 25 4gb swivel drives?

When this thread first started I managed to find a twister style USB drive in my drawer. I cleaned it up and heat pressed on to it a logo using CPM 6.2 Hard Surface Light from The Magic Touch (see picture). I have carried the USB key around and used it like a normal pen drive. The logo is still on the drive and has not scratched at all. So if you have a good supplier of blank drives you can personalise them very cheaply.

This one does not have any after coating but personally I would still recommend a quick dusting with varnish before putting back together but that is up to you.
