I needed a Sketch Pen but didn't have the time to wait (as need it now).

So made one, find a 14mm OD syringe - this one has the perfect size end to take a Bic pen as you can see - you just have to drill out the slightly more restricted hole between that and the main body of the Syringe.

This works perfectly - no more wasting Meta-Tex just to find out my holes weren't cut out :)

What are you using the biro for mate, is it checking offset or something?

The Blade carrier is 14mm so unless you have a Biro thats 14mm you will need to make one of these or buy the official adapter which is £10.

I use this to make sure my cut is correct, I keep having it double cut as I have traced wrong - still havent got used to Design Studio and tracing yet.

So I use this to draw out the design first, saves materials.

You can also check the offset is correct, mine was causing problems for a while with Kiss cust but that was because the material on the mat was slipping about - have to use tape now to hold things down as I got rid of the glue on the mat.

Nik good tip there.
Here is one for you. If you wash the matt with warm soapy water you should find it will be sticky again if left to dry.

Double cut as in your line width is too wide Nik therefore making "train Tracks"?
