Not saying what I said to be nasty, more for constructive criticism to help improve, sorry if it didn't come across that way.

Can anyone recommend a good staple gun ?

That video does show very neat corners, thanks for the comments so far.

Hi Nik, I'd recommend an electric gun or air fed if you have a compressor, much easier to use when trying to hold/stretch the canvas.

Machine mart have a decent range, about £30 for an air fed and £25 for electric. not really much more expensive than a decent manual one.

I have one for my compressor but didnt really fancy firing that up for this - I just found a fancy Stanley One made from 'Aircraft Aluminium'..lol :) you know me by now - I cant wait.. I must say this feels pretty decent.

My Adkins heats to 20c below what it displays so I set the main temp to 210 which made the heat plate the required 190c.

I followed Purpledragons instructions - 190 for 40 secs and this is the result.. the original is also pictured so you can see the difference.

This is good enough to sell now :)

Nik.....As I print my canvases with a Versacamm and not dyesub my comments might not be relevant. Comparing your first print to the second one then yes there is a definite improvement but for me the colours are still somewhat washed out.....they just dont 'pop' as they do with solvent printing. It might be the screen image that's doing this so if that's the case it's difficult to really comment accurately. However looking at the other items in the photo they look sharp with the 'pop' factor so for me it looks like the print is flat. Sorry.

It may well just be the image, I will try something different now. This was the last Image I took of the little fella so am using it for that reason.

Ok, so it looks like it is my image that's the problem - our bikes at the bottom are the same as the cat but the DSF Mug test image IS vibrant (to me anyway).

Good work Nik...looks good to me! My question is, why does your Adkins heat to 20c below what it displays?!

I don't know but I have asked Luke if I can Calibrate it properly - I don't want to take it apart if there is no way of doing it.

It seems quite simple, expecting to see a Pot just for this but don't want to take it apart yet as I don't want to void my 60 year warranty.
